Overview
The Territory Sales Manager role involves leading sales activities across a specific geographic territory to achieve business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct field sales responsibilities, representing the entire assigned product portfolio within a designated geographic territory.
- Generate new accounts where the company may not have a presence through high sales activity and customer engagement.
- Cultivate existing revenue through ongoing support, education, demonstration, consultation, and sales processes.
- Manage key accounts and targeted customers.
- Maintain thorough understanding of customer objectives, purchasing criteria, and decision-making processes.
- Attain monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Attend to customer inquiries and needs as related to the assigned product portfolio.
- Travel as necessary in an efficient and cost-effective manner to optimize portfolio exposure within the specified geographic territory.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Adequate years of experience in medical device sales.
- Prior field sales experience in a business-to-business capacity will be beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.
- Good customer service attributes, listening, and comprehension skills.
