**Job Overview**

Drive health, safety and environment compliance on a national scale. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of BGIS Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) processes to manage workplace hazards.

  • Lead HSEQ across a portfolio of facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Understand HSEQ requirements and processes for work tasks.
  • Investigate HSEQ incidents and manage internal and external audits.

**Responsibilities**

The role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining key account HSEQ documents such as management plans, risk registers and improvement plans.

Working closely with account teams and clients to drive HSEQ improvements across the account.

Provide strategic HSEQ governance and lead HSEQ specific engagements with the client.

Support and advise operational, account leadership and client teams around HSEQ issues.

Lead and support a team of HSEQ advisors who support operational teams.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years' experience in an HSEQ leadership role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt an innovative approach to HSEQ management.
