National Health and Safety Leader

We are seeking an experienced National Manager to lead our health, safety, wellbeing and environment streams.
- Oversee tailored frameworks, procedures, policies and programs to minimise risk and develop a strong safety culture.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
- Drive health and safety accreditations and manage a programme of audits across sites.
- Lead the national Safety and Compliance team and foster a high-performance culture.
- Support managers and WHS Committee representatives to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for regulatory compliance and hazard mitigation.
- Review high consequence events and oversee the implementation of improvement controls.
About This Role
- 15 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
- WHS formal qualifications are essential.
- Able to lead and mentor a group of HSE professionals based around Australia.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of occupational health and safety management.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience in project management and working with diverse stakeholders.
