The role In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the strict adherence to defined service quality standards and health safety policies, while providing expert counsel on medication safety principles, governance, and quality standards in alignment with national benchmarks. Leading the development, implementation, and review of statewide medication safety initiatives, you'll engage diverse stakeholders, achieve project milestones, and mitigate risks effectively, thereby promoting completed initiatives across Queensland.
The successful personTo excel in this position, you must demonstrate proficiency in overseeing clinical projects of considerable scale and complexity across various service lines, utilizing effective project management principles. Additionally, possessing a comprehensive grasp of medication safety principles, the legislative framework governing medicines, and the workings of the Queensland Public Health System is crucial for swiftly acquiring pertinent information to address the urgent operational needs of Medication Services Queensland.
Furthermore, you should exhibit advanced problem-solving abilities and adeptness in managing issues, along with the capability to analyse and synthesize information from diverse channels. Your proficiency should extend to leveraging highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster productive relationships with stakeholders. This includes the ability to engage in consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution, as well as the preparation of project documentation and departmental correspondence.
