Account Director

We're seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team at We Are Social, a socially-led creative agency operating globally at the forefront of marketing and culture. As an Account Director, you will lead the relationship with our clients and ensure that all tasks are approached strategically and with the right amount of hustle to push the boundaries and deliver for them.
About the Role- Lead client meetings, ensuring they are purposeful and productive, and truly understand the client's business and category.
- Provide day-to-day direction to ensure the team knows where we are, where we need to go, and how we're going to get there.
- Think ahead and anticipate opportunities and problems, making a plan to mitigate risk.
- Manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, earning respect and trust through open and honest communication.
- Contribute to the creative process, building on ideas and delivering creative solutions worth talking about.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, identifying opportunities to increase client scope and revenue.
- Lead and manage people within the team, nurturing and developing talent to bring out the best in individuals.
- 7-9 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an agency environment.
- Experience in the wellness and/or beauty FMCG industries.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to instil confidence in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to describe yourself as proactive, quick-thinking, and an excellent problem solver.
- Experience working with creators and influencers, and managing talent relationships.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a 'can-do' approach to picking up projects and making them happen.
