About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the project's successful execution from inception to operational efficiency. As the Project Manager for our supply chain network design, you will oversee the project, coordinate various functions, manage the transition period with a focus on inventory management, and drive continuous process improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure governance over the network design project, coordinating and overseeing all functions throughout the project phases. Achieve successful completion within the planned scope and timeline while minimizing operational disruptions.

  • Act as the primary contact for all project-related streams. Drive and track project tasks, ensuring accountability and progress. Prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and local policies.

  • Evaluate project performance by reviewing reports and dashboards. Conduct ongoing assessments of project efficiency and effectiveness. Implement strategies to drive process efficiency improvements.

  • Closely collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure seamless project deployment. Align project activities with internal policies and procedures.

  • Manage the transition between the current and future 3PL network, ensuring a smooth and efficient handover. Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Project Manager in Supply Chain with warehouse/network development or similar projects and strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently, are essential. A deep understanding of Supply Chain focusing on Primary Freight/Secondary Freight logistics is required.
