About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomic Sales Professional to join our team at Nutrien Ag Solutions. As a Senior Account Manager Agronomy Specialist, you will play a key role in developing strong customer relationships and providing agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region.

About the Role

  • Provide expert agronomic advice and support to customers, helping them to improve the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of their farming enterprises.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while also identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow our customer base.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices and technologies, and share this knowledge with customers to help them make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
  • Conduct field days and farmer meetings to educate customers on the latest agronomic practices and technologies.

About You

  • You have a strong technical knowledge of agronomic practices and a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have a proven track record of building enduring and successful partnerships with customers, delivering high-quality agronomic advice and service.
  • You have excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, and are able to work effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and other external partners.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field, and have a current driver's license.
