Job Title: Community Support Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Assistance: Supporting clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, mopping, vacuuming, shopping, and light meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, medication prompting, and general hygiene needs.
  • Individual Social Support: Providing companionship, assisting with shopping, transporting clients to essential appointments, and helping them remain connected to their community.
  • Respite Care: Providing in-home or community-based respite for carers while ensuring clients remain safe and engaged.
  • Wellbeing Monitoring: Observing and reporting changes in clients' health and wellbeing to support independence and safety.
  • Team Contribution: Collaborating with colleagues, attending staff meetings, and participating in training and development.
  • Administration: Maintaining accurate and timely records to ensure quality service delivery and compliance.

Key qualifications include a genuine commitment to person-centred care, physical fitness, knowledge of CHSP and HACC-PYP principles, and a valid Victorian Drivers licence. The ability to work between Monday and Saturday 7am and 7pm is also required.
