Greater Northern Community Services provides supports for adolescents and adults living with disabilities to reach their full potential. We work closely with our clients supporting them with daily self-care activities, attending appointments, community access with the focus on encouraging and promoting active, healthy and positive lifestyle choices.

**The Role**

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for casual shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to support NDIS participants living with a disability in their private homes. This can involve manual handling, community access, transportation, personal care and companionship. This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who is energetic, excited to make a difference in people’s lives and is passionate about the work they do.

**Eligibility Criteria**

Relevant work experience in Disability
Relevant qualification in Disability, Aged Care or Individual Support
Willingness to accept short shifts
Working with Children’s Check
NDIS worker screening check
Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID004) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate
National Police Check
Full Australian Driver licence
The right to work in Australia

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $35.01 - $63.02 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
