About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented, supportive team at the forefront of the industry's transformation. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering key projects and driving collaboration across diverse stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic projects to address power system challenges from increasing DER, including standards, compliance, and evolving behaviours.
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement, providing expert advice to support an integrated approach.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategic positions on technical requirements.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, recommendations, and presentations that communicate complex technical issues to executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and supporting key initiatives under the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, or Science/Maths (with a power system focus), or equivalent relevant discipline or work experience.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy.
  • Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality technical documentation and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarise complex data and insights.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) across diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, outcome-focused, and able to build constructive relationships.
