Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional support and services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support consumers in achieving their goals by actively listening to their needs and concerns.
  • Implement care plans as directed by registered nurses, maintaining accurate records of consumer outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families and agencies to improve the lives of consumers.
  • Identify and report workplace risks and consumer risks to management in a timely manner.
  • Attend regular training sessions to develop skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in an aged care facility.
  • Strong customer focus, with a passion for providing high-quality care.
  • Excellent attention to detail, honesty, reliability, and positive attitude.
  • Maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
