Job Description:

\

This Senior Application Support Analyst position requires a highly skilled individual to provision the Global onsite-offshore Front office application support team and provide expert-level support for Fixed Income Derivatives applications and their interface with various upstream, downstream, infrastructure, database systems, and more.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Provision and manage large-scale Structured applications\
  • Drive strategic initiatives related to process improvement, release automation, proactive monitoring automation, and enforcing compliance across applications\
  • Liaise with internal development teams and external vendors to resolve support issues\
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the global application support team\
  • Work closely with Senior Management, Front office business users, Traders, Quants, Risk Managers, Product Control groups, and other stakeholders\
  • Identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business and implement corrective actions\
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure maximum uptime and efficient operations\
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency\
  • Support applications & infrastructure, working with business users, change management, incident & problem management, audit and compliance reviews, EOD batch monitoring, tasks automation, BCP testing, infrastructure planning and implementation\
  • Maintain accurate records of system performance, incidents, and resolutions\\-

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\

To succeed in this role, you will need:

\
  • \
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 2-3 years in the financial industry\
  • Prior experience in implementing and supporting large-scale production systems\
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Trading activities, Market Data Feeds, and applications such as Murex, Bloomberg, and other Derivative risk systems\
  • Strong experience with Linux, Windows, SQL Server, and application monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos and Job Scheduler (CTRL-M))\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills\
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment\
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills\\-
