About the Role

As a Clinical Psychologist/Psychologist at Autism SA, you will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating assessment services for individuals on the autism spectrum. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our diagnostic processes reflect current international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Reviews and Reassessments: Apply your professional knowledge to conduct thorough reviews and reassessments of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This involves verifying assessments and diagnoses to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Team Collaboration: Work within our multidisciplinary team to conduct diagnostic assessments of individuals. This collaborative approach ensures comprehensive care and supports the development of effective treatment plans.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Contribute to the budgeting and financial management of the diagnostic service, working closely with our line manager and finance department to drive success and growth.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Registration: Be registered with APHRA as a Clinical Psychologist or Psychologist.
  • Post-Graduate Qualification: Hold a post-graduate qualification in a related specialist area (desired).
  • Ongoing Professional Development: Demonstrate ongoing professional development in ASD, staying up-to-date with the latest research and recommendations.
  • Certifications and Clearance: Possess satisfactory DHS Working with Children Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and National Police Check.
  • Licence: Hold a valid C-Class Driver's Licence.
