About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Global onsite-offshore Front office application support team, you will be responsible for provisioning and providing exceptional support for Fixed Income Derivatives applications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 20+ members in providing 24/7 support to ensure maximum uptime and drive down incidents.
  • Contribute to defining the vision, strategies, and direction of FIC Production Services organization.
  • Support applications & infrastructure, work with business users, manage change, incident & problem management, audit and compliance reviews, EOD batch monitoring, tasks automation, BCP testing, infrastructure planning and implementation.
  • Liaise with internal development teams and external vendors to resolve support issues of Fixed Income Derivative applications.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, minimum 2-3 years in financial industry.
  • Prior experience in implementing and supporting large-scale production systems.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Trading activities, Market Data Feeds, and applications like Murex, Bloomberg.
  • Strong experience on Linux, Windows, SQL Server, and Application monitoring tools.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
