Capital Markets Analyst Role

This position involves working with the corporate client base, primarily consisting of listed and unlisted corporations, government entities, and private equity. The role requires delivering resources from RBC Capital Markets and other RBC divisions.

The Analyst will execute transactions, develop and review financial models, conduct research, analyze data to assist senior team members in advising clients. Key responsibilities include transaction execution, new business presentations, meetings, and analytical support on transactions and business development.

The successful candidate will gain skills to develop relationships with peers/juniors at clients, begin understanding how to develop business opportunities, and work collaboratively with VPs and Associates in developing pitch books and related client materials.

Requirements for this role include a degree-educated individual with a minimum of 3 years of Investment Banking experience, preferably within a metals & mining coverage team, at the Analyst level or within a related area.

Additional qualifications include outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting; highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests; ability to take initiative and function well within a team; and excellent written and oral communication skills.
