Capital Markets Specialist Role Overview

The Equity Capital Markets team is looking for a highly skilled professional to join our Sydney office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for originating, leading and executing equity capital market transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.

About the Role

You will develop content for client meetings on strategy and potential capital market transactions, as well as regular market updates. You will liaise with multiple internal and external parties to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating live equity offerings, including bookbuilds and settlement/operational flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate, lead and execute equity capital market transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
  • Develop content for client meetings on strategy and potential capital market transactions.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
  • Assist in coordinating live equity offerings, including bookbuilds and settlement/operational flow.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' relevant work experience in ECM, Capital Markets or related area.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of equity markets.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, time management and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail.
