Quality Assurance Professional

The primary objective of this role is to collaborate with plant management to address quality issues, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and business objectives.

  • Product Quality: Ensure that incoming raw materials meet company standards, follow guidelines for non-conforming materials, provide immediate feedback, and guarantee the quality of finished products.
  • Quality Systems: Ensure that measuring instruments are calibrated, review and update quality-related documents, and conduct periodic reviews to maintain the quality management system.
  • Plant Quality Audits: Conduct assessments to ensure that business operations conform to the QMS, providing input for review, correction, and improvement.
  • Corrective and Preventive Actions: Timely actions to correct non-conformities, customer feedback, and complaints.
  • Zero Harm: Work in alignment with the James Hardie Zero Harm pledge, report incidents, hazards, and near misses, and take ownership of health and safety initiatives.

Requirements:

  • SKILLS: Align with leadership behaviors, work effectively with others, comply with EEO legislation, express ideas logically, utilize root cause analysis, and operate laboratory equipment.
  • KNOWLEDGE: Preferably Science/Engineering graduate or equivalent, with a background in fiber cement process or manufacturing setup.
  • EXPERIENCE: A couple of years in a similar role and environment.
