About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our SmartIQ Engineering team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our highly skilled engineering staff and ensuring that company objectives and goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Leadership
    • Develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement.
    • Contribute to the development of technical strategies and plans that drive business growth and innovation.
    • Lead a team of engineers at various stages of their career, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their growth and development.
    • Recruit, interview, and hire new engineering staff to support the team's growth and expansion.
  • Team Contribution
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and product management, to influence the direction of the product and plan the steps to get there.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • Experience in leading an engineering team in a technical capacity.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • Operational experience with teams responsible for building SaaS solutions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
