Residential Building Certification Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our NSW Residential Certification team as Residential Building Certification Specialists. As part of our sustained and planned business growth, we have opportunities available for individuals with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include working across a variety of residential projects, focusing on:

  • The timely completion of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Crown Certificates, and Building Code of Australia assessments.
  • Attending site inspections and client meetings to provide expert advice.
  • Offering building compliance guidance to a diverse range of clients, including homeowners and builders.
  • Investigating and resolving customer requests in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Collaborating with Team Leaders to develop business improvement strategies and mentor junior staff members.
  • Representing us at industry events, conferences, and seminars as required.

About You

We invite applications from qualified professionals who hold either:

  • A restricted (Class 1 & 10 residential buildings) registration (A3); or
  • A Building Inspector Residential Certifier who can carry out inspections registration (A4).

with NSW Fair Trading and possess excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills to effectively manage a large variety of Class 1 & 10 building projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of building regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
