About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Construction Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our residential construction division, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for new and existing clients.

This position is based in Newcastle, AU, and involves acting as the first point of contact for potential clients, guiding them through queries to relevant sales contacts, and managing client portfolios throughout the building process.

]Main Responsibilities
  • Manage customer relations and communications regarding progress and delivery of home building agreements.
  • Handle internal and external stakeholder inquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete pre-planning inspection forms accurately and on time.
  • Process building permits and submissions promptly.
  • Negotiate and manage approval application questions with developers and local councils.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases and record progress on applications.
  • Plan and participate in consultative meetings, including walkthroughs of final construction contracts and plans.
]Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold 2+ years minimum experience within the residential construction sector in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of permits and approvals processes.
  • Be able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Have strong English skills, written and verbal, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
