Opportunity OverviewThis permanent, full-time opportunity is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Sheet Metal Manufacturing Associate to join our operations team at our Canning Vale facility.
The successful candidate will work an 8-hour day shift or afternoon shift, with a competitive hourly rate of $73,150 to $80,000, depending on relevant trade qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture goods to customer specifications using sheet metal equipment
- Operate metal folding, roll form, and pressing machines, as well as general sheet metal equipment
- Pick and pack products efficiently
- Interpret product drawings and designs
- Participate in training programs for specific plant and equipment
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to critical safety rules
- Essential: Experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks)
- Essential: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Essential: AQF Certificate III in Engineering or similar – Sheet Metal qualification
- Desirable: At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to producing high-quality products
