Role Overview

Stratco is seeking a skilled Production Team Member (Sheet Metal) to join their operations team in Canning Vale.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working an 8-hour Day Shift (6am - 2.06pm) or Afternoon Shift (2.54pm - 11.00pm) with an hourly rate of $73,150 to $80,000 depending on relevant trade qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing products
  • Interpreting product drawings
  • Manufacturing goods to our customers' requirements
  • Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipment
  • Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focused
  • Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

About You

  • Essential - Experience using Sheetmetal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks)
  • Essential - Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Essential - At least an AQF Certificate III in Engineering or similar – Sheet Metal
  • Desirable - At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commitment to producing quality products
  • Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
