Chief Medical Officer, Adelaide Healthcare Network

This influential position requires you to provide visionary leadership that aligns culture, systems, and practices to deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care across the network.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Clinical Leadership and Governance: Lead and drive continuous improvement in clinical governance, care quality, workforce development, and patient safety at CALHN, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while fostering innovation, collaboration, and fiscal responsibility.
- Education: Establish CALHN as a leader in clinical service, research, and medical education by overseeing workforce governance, fostering partnerships with educational institutions, and promoting a culture of learning and professional development.
- Quality, Safety and Risk Management: Lead and oversee the development and implementation of strategic frameworks, safety systems, and compliance processes to ensure continuous improvement in quality management, risk reduction, and patient safety, while fostering a culture of accountability and proactive risk management across CALHN.
- Multi-disciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with the Executive Directors of Nursing and Allied Health to foster holistic workforce development, promote innovation, and advance medical education through partnerships with universities and research sectors.
