We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Simulation Expert to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network in Adelaide.

As a key member of our Medical Education Unit, you will play a crucial role in facilitating innovative simulation-based education and training for healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help enhance interprofessional learning, ultimately improving safety and quality in healthcare delivery.

This diverse and dynamic position requires setting up and delivering advanced simulation technologies that provide realistic training scenarios for healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of their roles.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also provide essential technical support, including installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of simulation equipment and systems. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will be invaluable as you assist educators and trainees in utilizing these technologies effectively.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Simulation Suite Technical Officer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to healthcare education. To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as simulation, IT, or healthcare, with NHET-Sim Program certification preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and service delivery, ensuring effective relationships within the team.
  • A solid understanding of IT networks, clinical simulation equipment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access.

The salary for this role is approximately $86,655 per annum, which includes superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits. As a member of our team, you will enjoy flexible work arrangements, paid recreation leave, and access to confidential counseling and support services.
