Job Description

As a strategic leader, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of accessible housing developments. Your key responsibilities include managing strategy, planning, construction, and compliance.

This role presents a unique opportunity to drive innovation through modern technologies and shape the future of inclusive housing.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for inclusive housing projects from concept to completion.
  • Integrate Livable Housing Design Guidelines and Universal Design principles into every phase of project delivery.
  • Oversee all construction operations, budgets, and financial responsibilities across multiple sites.
  • Maintain compliance with Australian Building Standards, WHS regulations, and accessibility legislation.
  • Promote innovation through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, including modular construction and digital project management tools.
  • Lead and develop high-performing construction teams and contractor networks.
  • Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders, regulators, funding bodies, and community advocates.
Requirements
  • Senior leadership experience in construction management, preferably within residential or community housing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Standards, accessibility codes, Livable Housing Design Guidelines, and Universal Design principles.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale housing projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
