Senior Leader - Affordable Housing Transformation

This is a rare executive opportunity to lead one of South Australia's most critical and high-impact housing portfolios. As the Director, Planning and Asset Management, you will be at the forefront of delivering the state's affordable housing vision, guiding $15 billion in housing assets, shaping long-term asset strategies, and influencing housing outcomes that affect thousands of lives.

About the Role:

  • Lead strategic transformation in affordable housing – shape the future of asset management in South Australia.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of affordable housing capital projects across the state.
  • Embed frameworks and governance for project delivery, from identification through to evaluation.
  • Drive complex procurement processes that deliver commercial and social value.
  • Build strong partnerships with the housing sector, industry, and all levels of government.
  • Develop, lead and define a highly capable multi-disciplinary team and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Provide strategic insight and advice to the Minister, Chief Executive, and Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the strategic asset management lifecycle including asset acquisition and divestment, focusing on medium-to-long-term planning for a $15 billion portfolio.
  • To oversee the successful delivery of affordable housing capital projects across the state.
  • To embed frameworks and governance for project delivery, from identification through to evaluation.
  • To drive complex procurement processes that deliver commercial and social value.
  • To build strong partnerships with the housing sector, industry, and all levels of government.
  • To develop, lead and define a highly capable multi-disciplinary team and foster a high-performance culture.
  • To provide strategic insight and advice to the Minister, Chief Executive, and Executive Leadership Team.
