Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Food Operations Manager. This position involves overseeing the preparation and serving of meals for children in line with established menus and dietary guidelines.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of food safety, adhering to the Council's Food Safety Program and relevant legislative requirements
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment at all times

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a commercial kitchen setting, preferably in a childcare or education facility
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently, leading a team when required
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or equivalent qualification, with willingness to obtain Food Safety Supervisor Certificate if not already held
