Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's kitchens and food offerings. This role requires a highly skilled and organized individual with experience in managing kitchen staff and maintaining high standards of food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the hotel's kitchens and food offerings, ensuring seamless service both front and back of house.
  • Maintain all food safety documentation and digital food safety programs to ensure compliance with established operating procedures.
  • Inspect and ensure that all kitchen equipment is in working order, and perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • Clean and maintain kitchens to a high standard, following set cleaning rosters and guidelines.
  • Manage kitchen staff's annual leave to ensure they take their leave regularly, promoting work-life balance and reducing stress levels.
  • Motivate kitchen staff to foster a harmonious workplace, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure all rostering and staffing requirements are met within budgetary guidelines, prioritizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with outlet managers and F+B management to ensure smooth service, meeting customer needs and requests to the best of the kitchen's ability.
  • Address customer needs and requests promptly, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with guests.
