Key Account Management Professional Wanted
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our national sales efforts and drive business growth through strategic account management. Our ideal candidate will have exposure to the Grocery sector, exceptional relationship development skills, and strong negotiation and selling abilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to manage and grow our business, ensuring continued revenue growth and market share expansion. They will establish and maintain long-term business partnerships with key customers, fostering trust and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
Our ideal candidate will have analytical skills with the ability to develop measurable strategies, strong Excel skills, and commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities. They will be highly motivated, able to work autonomously, and proactive, organized, and passionate about success.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit objectives in line with company goals by building strong relationships with key customers and negotiating promotional programs.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to manage and grow the Coles/WWS business, ensuring continued revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Establish and maintain long-term business partnerships with key customers, fostering trust and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Manage customer P&L within assigned brand responsibility, executing promotional programs and negotiations to drive sales growth.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new opportunities and develop actionable strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Introduce and maintain products in the market, leveraging analytical skills to develop measurable strategies for success.
- Oversee in-store activities through third-party merchandisers, ensuring seamless execution of sales plans and category management.
- Prepare presentations for regular reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in category management.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and overall improvement in category management.
- Proactively work towards continuous improvement in account management, staying motivated and passionate about driving results.
Requirements:
- Exposure to account management in the Grocery sector
- Exceptional relationship development skills, with ability to build strong rapport
- Strong negotiation and selling skills
- Analytical skills with ability to develop measurable strategies
- Strong Excel skills essential
- Commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities
- Highly motivated, with ability to work autonomously
