In line with this growth, the business is now seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert advice and support on ER/IR matters to ensure compliance and best practices are maintained.

This is a role where you will further develop and utilise your technical capabilities in a supportive environment that fosters continuous learning and development. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, ensuring all concerns are handled fairly and in accordance with legislation
  • Assisting with managing workplace grievances, performance management, and conducting workplace investigations;
  • Supporting the development and delivery of ER training for managers and ensuring compliance with HR policies and legislation; and
  • Empowering stakeholders by enhancing their capabilities, boosting the confidence, effectiveness, and accountability of all people leaders.

Our ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in Human Resources, Law, Workplace Relations, or possess related tertiary qualifications. You will have an aptitude for learning information quickly and importantly, be passionate about human resources with a specialisation in employee relations.  

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a HR Generalist or HR Advisor with experience in employee relations;
  • Proven ability to apply ER practices to support business objectives and ensure compliance with Modern Awards/Enterprise Agreements.
  • Ability to balance a number of competing priorities whilst maintaining a focus on quality and continuous improvement;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated through workplace investigations and conflict resolution; and
  • Ability to influence and partner with business leaders at all levels of the organisation.
