Spiritual Care and Support Services

We are seeking a dedicated individual to deliver high-quality pastoral care services to residents and clients, ensuring their cultural and spiritual wellbeing is maintained.

About the Role:

This role involves providing personal spiritual support and guidance to residents and clients in line with their preferences and Catholic Healthcare's Mission.

  • Deliver pastoral care services to residents and clients, promoting their dignity and autonomy.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within residential aged care homes.
  • Work safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents by following all policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.

A strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.

A commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.

A commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
