About the Role:
As a Sports Commercial Manager at YouGov, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies to drive growth and client satisfaction. This hybrid role combines client servicing and new business development, requiring a unique blend of analytical, sales, and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:
• Drive commercial growth through effective client management and new business development.
   • Analyze media performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients.
   • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality project management and data analysis services.
   • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service and meet their marketing objectives.
   • Communicate complex ideas simply and effectively to clients and stakeholders.

New Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
   • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to secure new clients and grow existing relationships.
   • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and pursue new revenue streams and business opportunities.
   • Build and maintain a network of contacts and partners to support new business development efforts.
   • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Key Requirements:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
   • Proven sales and business development experience, with track record of success in securing new clients and growing revenue.
   • Strong understanding of media evaluation, sponsorship, and market research principles and practices.
   • Familiarity with social media analytical tools and digital monitoring analysis software.
   • Strong research, analysis (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), and writing skills.
   • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
