
Senior Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Lead

A highly skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Technician is required to lead our workshop team in Launceston.
As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for mentoring, leading and directing the workshop team, diagnosing, servicing and repairing equipment to meet customer expectations and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Mentoring and leading the workshop team to achieve exceptional results
- Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment to meet customer expectations
- Assisting the service manager with job costing, quotations and retail repairs
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service at all times
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Australian Heavy Diesel Motor mechanic trade certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of self-motivation and ability to work without direct supervision
- Proven ability to identify and resolve problems
- Good computer skills with standard PC programs and equipment diagnostic tools
- Experience in maintenance, servicing, repairs and rebuilds of heavy vehicles
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and repairs (desirable)
