This key role will support the daily operations of our volunteer program, providing administrative and coordination services to ensure every stage of the volunteer experience is well-organized and welcoming.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist the Volunteer Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the volunteer program, including data entry, record-keeping, and onboarding processes.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and coordinate key volunteer events throughout the year, preparing materials and communications as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Volunteer Manager and other team members to deliver effective volunteer programs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally across various audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data entry and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and timely updates across all systems.
  • Organizational Abilities: A motivated and well-organized approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills, with confidence in handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel, along with experience navigating HR/payroll or database systems.
