Volunteer Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of our volunteer programs.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team who share your passion for creating meaningful experiences for older people in our community.
  • You will work closely with the Volunteer Manager to assist with key administrative tasks such as data entry, volunteer onboarding, communications, and the coordination of volunteer events.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operations of our volunteer program as a key point of contact for both new and existing volunteers.
  • Provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Volunteer Manager, helping ensure every stage of the volunteer experience is well-organized and welcoming.
  • Enter and maintain accurate volunteer records, assist with onboarding processes and compliance requirements, prepare communications and event materials, and help coordinate key volunteer events throughout the year.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally across a range of audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data entry and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and timely updates across all systems.
  • A motivated and well-organized approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Effective time management skills, with confidence in handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel, along with experience navigating HR/payroll or database systems.
