We're seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team at Gertrude Abbott Surry Hills. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to our clinical and personal care teams. This includes:

  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures.
  • Providing coaching and training to our clinical and support teams to ensure delivery of quality resident outcomes.
  • Working closely with our Residential Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role.
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Strong customer-centric approach to business.
