
Advanced Practitioner in Resident Care

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-level clinical support and assessment for residents. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to mentor Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify residents who require additional support.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet individual resident needs.
- Provide guidance, education, and support to help Registered Nurses enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Respond promptly to unplanned incidents, such as sudden clinical deterioration, and contribute to the development of solutions to improve care outcomes.
- Promote excellence in clinical practice and lead efforts to enhance team knowledge and skill application.
- Develop and leverage specialized expertise to drive improvements in resident care.
- Foster a culture of best practices and support employees in delivering exceptional care.
- Educate and train staff on up-to-date clinical knowledge and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to support funding and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in regular clinical meetings to discuss care trends and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry developments and maintain professional competence through ongoing education and training.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
- Nurture professional relationships through networking opportunities.
- Work safely to minimize risks to self and others, adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
- Report hazards, near misses, or incidents promptly and participate in Return to Work plans when necessary.
