At Anton Murray Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced middle office professional to join our team as an ETF Support Specialist in Sydney.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a passion for trading support to work directly with a high-performing team of traders focused on ETFs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, covering ETFs, equity derivatives, or equities, and possess strong corporate actions knowledge and expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising between traders and dealers/brokers to ensure seamless trading operations
  • Collaborating with ETF traders, operations, and external Prime Brokers to maintain trading system parity
  • Compiling and reconciling data from electronic trades
  • Examining electronic transactions generated from clearing firms
  • Resolving erroneous and broken trades
  • Assisting with maintaining position, P&L, and information exchange
  • Updating and managing post-computer screens, including exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets

We are looking for a high-calibre individual who possesses the following competencies:

  • 3 years' experience in the financial services industry, with completion of finance/investment-related coursework a plus
  • Strong knowledge of equities, ETFs, equity derivatives, and corporate actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written); ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and resourceful in solving problems
  • Ability to move throughout the trading floor as needed
  • Maintain composure under pressure

Estimated salary for this role in Sydney: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and comparable roles within the financial sector.
