As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of young people.

You will support vulnerable youth to feel safe and empowered to build trust and believe in their futures. Your work will involve fostering positive relationships based on respect and empathy, creating structured therapeutic environments that promote growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily routines, personal care and activities for young people with sensitivity and compassion
  • BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS BASED ON TRUST AND RESPECT
  • Create safe, supportive spaces for emotional expression and development
  • Respond calmly to challenges and behavioral needs with creative solutions
  • Collaborate on individualized care plans to drive positive outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Community Services or relevant qualification
  • Full Australian Driver's License, First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check
  • Empathy, resilience and solutions-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and overnights
