Youth Justice Specialist - Transforming Lives, Empowering Futures
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Youth Justice Specialist where you will play a vital role in empowering young people in custody to steer their lives in a positive direction.
You will act as part of an extended network of care, helping them work towards daily goals and develop life skills.
Key responsibilities include monitoring progress and supporting rehabilitative outcomes, working closely with the young person's care team.
We provide a Certificate IV in Youth Justice through full training, equipping you with the necessary skills to excel in this role.
Requirements- Motivation and Empathy: The ability to work with children and young people while maintaining professional boundaries
- Life Experience: Adapting and managing challenging situations with ease
- Dedication and Resilience: Maintaining positivity and commitment even after setbacks
- Collaboration: The ability to be a natural team player and work well with colleagues
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Effective report writing is essential for this role
