About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Risk Division as a Strategic Risk Operations Specialist. In this role, you will support the Chief Operating Officer (Risk COO) in driving operational excellence across the Risk Function, ensuring high performance and role-modeling standard risk management practices.

You will be responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze current state(s), identify key issues and risks, document business requirements and solution designs, and complete deliverables required by the Group's Transformation Delivery Standard. Additionally, you will ensure that risks (Project and Operations) are managed in accordance with set risk frameworks, including governance and escalation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in identifying and managing Project Key Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID).
  • Ensure proactive identification and management of delivery and delivered risks in accordance with policy and standards.
  • Demonstrate well-versed analysis techniques to drive outcomes such as impact assessments, gap analysis, and data profiling.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relations with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current state(s) and definition of problem statement(s).
  • Produce concise, clear reports effectively communicating project status to various stakeholder groups.
  • Work collaboratively with the Project team, colleagues in the Risk Division, and stakeholders across the Group.
  • Act as an ambassador for Risk through delivery and behaviors.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience operating in a similar role, with prior experience working in Risk and/or Records Management.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills with great stakeholder management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentations skills and prior experience with project planning and execution.
  • Other key attributes include: Strong drive and commitment, influencing and negotiating, willingness to learn, resilience, ability to build effective relationships and assimilate information quickly, flexibility, and adaptability.
