About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Risk Management Specialist to join our team based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. This role reports to the Head of Risk and Assurance and involves maintaining and managing risk and compliance frameworks, as well as providing guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strong risk management practices across all bids and projects, including engaging with bid and project teams to compile risk registers and conducting risk workshops.
  • Support the development and maintenance of risk management software, including user access provisioning and management, end-user support and training, and assisting in the development of new modules.
  • Conduct independent operational reviews of projects to provide assurance to Leadership on progression and potential risks during both mobilisation and delivery phases.
  • Analyse key metric indicators and operational risk to identify project trends and liaise with responsible parties to understand and monitor risk management strategies.
  • Maintain the compliance framework and programme, including conducting business ethics company and project audit and reviews on adherence to the Group Code of Conduct.

About You

  • A minimum of three years' experience in risk management, preferably within the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organisation.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Sound experience with frameworks and policies.
  • Ability to interpret legislative changes into practice.
  • Strong initiative and technically proficient with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
