The Business Analyst Role

The Business Analyst will foster and maintain strong relationships across key business functions and stakeholders and will utilise their business and technology expertise to assist JD Group in achieving project milestones.

The Business Analyst will work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and translate these into actionable outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document requirements for various key projects inline with the overall business strategy
  2. Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit detailed information regarding project objectives and deliverables
  3. Identify common issues as problems and deliver solutions that will address root cause
  4. Document requirements, test cases and user documents
  5. Support project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets
  6. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
  7. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role within big-box Retail
  2. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory
  3. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (., Excel, SQL, Tableau)
