Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Leader

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Operations Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing the effective management of depot activities, ensuring seamless site operations and leading a team of staff at a high-volume depot.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely manage day-to-day depot activities, including local fleets and cross-dock warehouses, to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Lead a diverse team, focusing on performance management, objective setting, and profitability enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication and commitment delivery.
  • Responsibly manage operational and administrative activity, labour allocation, and site maintenance requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven senior leadership experience with diverse teams, preferably in the transport and logistics industry.
  • Able to establish a safe working environment where safety is prioritized and promoted.
  • Exceptional customer service and people skills, with experience developing strong working relationships.
  • Previous experience managing organizational finances, implementing cost-effective options, and business reporting.
