About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer and Operations Management Officer to join our team at Darebin City Council. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our departments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data, and promoting excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain data in various databases, including work orders, customer requests, and purchase orders.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to our departments, including drafting letters and emails, transcribing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Actively promote a positive workplace culture by enhancing our approach to excellent customer service.
  • Maintain department workflows in our systems, including asset management, property and rates, finance, and email systems.
  • Coordinate staff meetings, schedule events, and arrange necessary equipment.
  • Handle the procurement of office supplies, raise purchase orders, and manage petty cash systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and address any operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update content on our internet and intranet sites.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support within a team environment.
  • Experience in an operational support environment.
  • Experience with asset management systems (Pathway & Infor/CAMS/Hanson 8) would be an advantage.
  • A current Working with Children Card.
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
