Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join our dynamic team as a Behaviour Support Practitioner Intern.

In this role, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training in Positive Behaviour Support to become a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide holistic therapy services across multiple clinics.

We offer a supportive environment where you can gain valuable experience and skills in behaviour support, working with adults and children with disabilities and/or Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attending regular supervisions and training sessions
  • Conducting behaviour assessments and developing high-quality individualised written behaviour support plans for NDIS participants
  • Working in a collaborative trans-disciplinary team of therapists to achieve positive outcomes for people with a disability
About You

You should possess strong organisational skills, a commitment to providing quality behaviour support, and a passion to learn and grow in a fun and supportive environment.

Essential Selection Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related allied health field
  • A current NDIS Screener Check or National Police Check and a Working with Children Check or willingness to complete these checks
  • Current Class C NSW drivers' licence or equivalent and the willingness to use it for work purposes
  • Demonstrated high-level written and oral communication skills
