**Role Overview**:
**As a Behaviour Intern with us, you won't just be gaining experience; you'll be an integral part of our Behaviour Support and Therapy Team. This entry-level role is designed to help you build a strong foundation in applied behaviour analysis theory and practice while also honing your skills in collaboration. Reporting to the Behaviour Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of our clients through evidence-based practices and collaborative efforts.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Collaboration Influencer**: Facilitate collaboration across the Behaviour Support and Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy teams.
- ** Hands-On Learning**: Under the direct supervision of our Team Leaders and Clinical Director, engage in direct behaviour therapy sessions in home, clinic, and community settings.
- ** Skill Development**:Participate in functional behaviour assessments, support plan development, caregiver training, data analysis, and reporting.
- ** Program Enhancement**: Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised skill acquisition programs and behaviour support plans.
- ** Resource Creation**:Develop resources and materials for program implementation, including data tracking sheets and communication records.
- ** Data-Driven Insights**: Use our online data collection system to gather, collate, and analyse client data, contributing to program decision-making.
- ** Group Program Participation**: Play a role in implementing group programs fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- ** Empowering Reporting**: Assist in writing progress reports and exit summaries, ensuring clear communication of client achievements.
- ** Supportive Mentorship**: Support Registered Behaviour Technicians through observations, feedback, and monthly sessions.
- ** Professional Development**: Attend weekly team meetings, meet minimum supervision requirements, remain current with research, and actively contribute to the growth of our team.
