- Care for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury and support them in regaining independence and returning to their daily lives.
As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional patient care and achieving high-quality clinical outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and promoting patient safety within our satellite unit through early intervention and escalation of care
- Assisting patients to access supported services to maximise their physical gains and return to a rewarding lifestyle
- Working with multidisciplinary and specialised teams to plan the care and treatment for patients through regular case conferences
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute, aged or rehabilitation nursing
- Experienced registered or enrolled nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes, either from a rehab or acute setting
- Strong collaborator with team members to support the delivery of rehabilitation care
- Confident communicator, with a supportive, engaging and compassionate style that enables you to easily build rapport with staff, patients and their families
