
Nurse Specialists for Rehabilitation Services

We are seeking skilled nurse specialists to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team at Epworth Richmond. This is a unique opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment, delivering high-quality clinical care and support to patients recovering from surgery, illness or injury.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver individualized care programs for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Provide expert nursing care to patients in acute, sub-acute and community settings, focusing on maximizing their physical gains and independence.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care across the continuum.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide education, support and empowerment throughout their recovery journey.
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA.
• Proven experience in rehabilitation nursing, with a focus on acute, sub-acute or community settings.
• Strong understanding of contemporary best practices in nursing care, including pain management, wound care and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
