The Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at the Rehabilitation Unit 2 at Broadmeadows Hospital. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of new initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct patient care and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans that promote patient independence and recovery
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and comprehensive care coordination
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in a rehabilitation or sub-acute setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
